On May 23th, 2007 in the line of the formal inauguration of the new Nicolas G. Hayek Center in Tokyo the opening of the graciously designed Glashütte Original Boutique took place likewise. Reflecting its sophisticated brand identity, the interior features pay homage to exquisite craftsmanship and eminent value.
The 14 level high building of the Nicolas G. Hayek Center is located in the prestigious Ginza district. The renowned architect Shigeru Ban has been responsible for the design of the high-rise. He envisaged the building as being constructed along the lines of a hanging garden to create a contrast to the surrounding urban architecture.
The hydraulic elevators are further highlights of the building’s architecture. Every single one of them presents a form of boutique which transports the guests to the exhibition halls of each brand.
