  • Elegant and harmonious

The Senator Diary presents a wonderfully balanced design with two crowns positioned directly opposite each other, each flanked by a pusher. The crown and pusher on the right operate the fascinating Panorama Date display at 3 o’clock. White gold hour, minute and sweep second hands underscore the elegance of the design.

  • Effective and functional

The unusual diary function – the black subsidiary dial at 9 o’clock and the gently curving aperture at 6 o’clock – catch the eye. To set the alarm one presses the pusher at 8 o’clock until a ‘d’ appears in the subdial window. Then one turns the crown at hour 10 until the red hand points to the desired date.

  • Intuitive and precise

To set the appointment time one uses the pusher to select the ‘h’ in the curved aperture at 6 o’clock. The function is active when a bell can be seen in the window of the subsidiary dial and the mechanism has been wound using the crown. When the set time and date arrive the alarm sounds for up to 80 seconds.

  • A heart made of 600 parts

The heart of the Senator Diary is the Glashϋtte Original Calibre 100-13, which combines the Calibre 100-03 and the appointment module. It comprises 631 components, all but a handful of which are designed, crafted, given decorative finishes by hand and assembled in the Glashütte Original manufactory. The diary module alone comprises some 340 parts.

Senator Diary - A world first

Brillant engineering art

The Senator Diary’s the ingeniously interlocking components permit the wearer to set an appointment beyond the end of the month, even when a manual correction of the date is required. A third spring barrel built into the diary module ensures that even if the watch runs down the alarm will sound.
