PanoMaticCalendar 1-92-09-02-05-62 - Glashütte Original
Case in warm red gold
Perfectly in line with the style of the Pano Collection, this new model with calendar function is at once contemporary, pure and absolutely unmistakable. The elegant red gold case is 42 mm in diameter; its polished and satin-brushed surfaces reflect the light and are harmoniously attuned to one another. The mechanical movement with its elaborate decorative finishing can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. A brown Louisiana Alligator nubuck leather strap takes up the warm tone of the case and ensures both elegance and comfort for the wearer.
A modern complication
At Glashūtte Original another grand complication celebrates its premiere. For the first time, our engineers, designers and watchmakers have dedicated their efforts to an annual calendar, highlighting not just hours, minutes and seconds, but the date and month as well – taking months of different lengths into account. Only once a year, on March 1st, is it necessary to correct the date in order to account for the short month of February.
Silver opaline dial
The dial is fashioned in silver opaline; the rehaut ring framing the dial makes a particularly elegant impression. The hour, minute and small second displays are decorated with a fine vinyl-type pattern. Golden applied indexes and hands coated with Super-LumiNova® along with a blued seconds hand set brilliant accents, which are taken up by the golden frame around the Panorama Date. The month is highlighted by a black indicator on a white ground, while the colour of the moon matches the red gold case.
New movement with a calendar
The new Calibre 92-09 was designed to meet the needs of modern life. A silicon balance spring that is unaffected by magnetic fields or by changes in temperature guarantees exceptional rate precision, along with a remarkable running time of 100 hours. The retrograde month display, like the date, is easily set using the crown. At the heart of the watch the associated month wheel rests on ball bearings, which ensures reduced friction and thus, over the long term, improved rate performance and less wear and tear.
