The slender bezel offers a generous view of the lacquered dial with a delicate silver grain, the laser-cut and black galvanised indexes as well as the matching railroad chapter ring. The Panorama Date and the windows of the month and weekday are subtly accentuated by elegant frames, a separate display below 12 o’clock depicts the leap years. Its small hand moves along a scale from 1 to 4 in an anti-clockwise direction, providing unmistakeable clarity in the clearly highlighted leap years, as well as every year in between.

The manufacture movement Calibre 36 features an oscillation system with a silicon balance spring; the rate is regulated by four adjustment screws. The optimally designed spring barrel provides a power reserve of 100 hours at a frequency of 4 Hertz. Like all Senator Excellence models, this timepiece bears a special engraving in the shape of a “Q”.
