Glashütte Original commemorates this exciting decade with the Sixties models. While creating this iconic line, the designers’ task was to capture the spirit and the joie de vivre of the 1960s in these models.

The 39 mm stainless steel case of this mechanical watch is extra-flat and polished to perfection. The sapphire crystal case back offers perfect views of the automatic movement and adds to the wearing comfort: thanks to its special shape, the watch fits snugly on the wrist. A finely scaled Louisiana alligator leather strap in midnight blue completes the vintage look.

The domed German silver dial is galvanised blue and given a subtle sunburst finish. Stylised Arabic numerals appear at hours 3, 6, 9 and 12 within a finely drawn white minute ring. Lightly curved hour and minute hands in white gold with Super-LumiNova® highlighting and an elegant seconds hand assure that the time remains perfectly legible at all hours. The pure design is enhanced by precisely milled hour indexes.

This elegant timepiece is powered by our manufactory calibre 39-52 with automatic winding and features a power reserve of 40 hours. Through the transparent case back, one can admire typical features such as the Glashütte three-quarter plate with stripe finish, the swan-neck fine adjustment, polished and bevelled steel components, as well as a skeletonised rotor.
