  • Glashütte icons

This sophisticated mechanical timepiece features not one but three elaborate complications that are closely associated with Glashütte Original: the brand's characteristic Panorama Date, the elegant moon phase and the Flying Tourbillon, which was developed by Alfred Helwig in Glashütte in 1920.

  • Sophisticated arrangement

This model is particularly striking due to its asymmetric dial visuals. The hour and minute display and the Flying Tourbillon are aligned along a vertical axis on the left side of the dial. The Panorama Date and the moon phase are positioned within the right half, which results in a harmonious image overall.

  • Flying Tourbillon

In contrast to the classic tourbillon anchored on both sides, Alfred Helwig's seemingly weightless construction makes do with a single anchor. In an open cage the balance and escapement revolve once a minute around their own axis, which serves to compensate for the negative influence of the force of gravity on the rate precision.

  • Golden ratio

The PanoLunarTourbillon moon phase display presents shimmering golden stars and a golden moon set against a dark blue night sky. The arrangement of the individual displays has been determined in accordance with the divine proportion, otherwise known as the golden ratio, the legendary law of aesthetic harmony that has fascinated artists, musicians and architects throughout history.

Mechanical heart

The PanoLunarTourbillon is powered by the Calibre 93-02 automatic movement, developed and built in the Glashütte Original manufactory. It features a 48-hour power reserve and a completely integrated moon phase mechanism. The oscillation system with its eight adjustment screws and twelve weighted screws ensures perfect rate precision.

Lunar fascination

The moon phase display is a work of art in itself: the profile of the moon is set against a refined night sky full of stars. Its elegant curves are formed in Glashütte Original's own dial manufactory thanks to the careful use of diamond milling, which lends the profile optical depth and brilliance.
