  • Sophisticated complications

It's considered one of the greatest challenges of the watchmaker's art: The Perpetual Calendar indicates not only the weekday, date and month, but leap years as well. The Senator Collection lends this sophisticated complication a face as elegant as it is contemporary.

  • Harmonious design

The dial of this elegant timepiece presents each of the displays as part of a clear and harmonious whole. Along with the Panorama Date, weekday, month and leap year displays, the Senator Perpetual Calendar shows the moon phase in a separate window at 7 o'clock. Every detail is executed with elaborate care: from the galvanic starry sky to the domed moon relief.

  • Easy to use

The calendar functions  –  the Panorama Date at 4 o'clock, weekday at 10 and month at 2 o'clock  –  are easily set using quick correctors on the case. A practical universal corrector makes it possible, in addition, to synchronise the linked displays with the leap year, which is indicated by a red dot above the centre of the dial.

  • Intelligent mechanics

When setting the watch a clever reset-to-zero function allows one to synchronise the watch's second hand with the standard time. Contrary to other zero-reset mechanisms the seconds hand is linked to neither the winding shaft or the crown - thus the balance keeps moving and the movement continues to run, which reduces material wear and tear.

Refined decorations

The sapphire crystal case back allows one to admire the artful details of the movement within. Characteristic features of Glashütte watchmaking reveal their beauty, including the divided three-quarter plate, swan-neck fine adjustment, Glashütte stripe and sunburst finishes, galvanized surfaces, polished steel components and bevelled edges.

A beating heart

The heart of the timepiece is the automatic manufactory movement Calibre 100-02 oscillating at 28,800 A/h with a screw balance containing 18 weighted screws and a 55 hour power reserve.
