Vintage icon in stainless steel
The striking 40 mm x 40 mm stainless steel case with its rounded corners is the trademark of the Seventies line. It gives it a vintage character that is as noble as it is unmistakable. With this limited model, there are two strap variants to choose from: black rubber or sporty stainless steel. Thanks to the sapphire crystal case back, the iconic chronograph provides insight into its interior and is water resistant to a pressure of 10 bar (100 m).
Robust retro classic
This chronograph has a clearly visible column wheel switch and an extremely robust construction. The characteristic Panorama Date of Glashütte Original and the 12-hour counter are colour-matched and feature white numerals on a black background. They are complemented by a small second display with power reserve indicator, a 30-minute counter and a stop-second in the middle, which can be reset and restarted with just one press thanks to the flyback function.
Dial in Vibing Orange
The matt lacquered dial in “Vibing Orange” was manufactured in-house and exudes zest for life and exuberance. The intense orange hue is reminiscent of sunsets in summer and exotic cocktails – with every look at the wrist. Black indexes and hands with Super LumiNova® coating complete the expressive look and ensure best readability even in the dark.
Refined automatic movement
Even though the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date has the look and feel of a child of the Seventies, the heart beating inside it is a contemporary automatic movement. Not only is the manufactory Calibre 37-02 equipped with a superior power reserve of 70 hours, its refined finishes are also excellent examples of traditional Glashütte watchmaking, with bevelled and polished edges, blued screws, and the famous Glashütte stripes finish on bridges, balance cock and a skeletonised rotor.
