Sixties Panorama Date 2-39-47-01-02-04 - Glashütte Original
Polished stainless steel
The 42 mm stainless steel case of this iconic timepiece is ultra-flat and polished to a high gloss. Its sapphire crystal case back offers perfect views of the finely finished movement and contributes to the wearer’s comfort: thanks to its special shape the watch fits snugly around the wrist. A black, finely scaled Louisiana alligator leather strap completes the retro-modern look and ensures a perfect fit on the wrist.
Striking and stylish
An authentic tribute to the spirit of the times, our Sixties Panorama Date celebrates the most exciting and intriguing decade of the 20th century. Striking and stylish at once, the superb vintage design and the distinctive details evoke the characteristic look of the well-known Spezimatic models that were produced in Glashütte more than 60 years ago.
Satin-finished silver dial
The slightly curved golden hands glide gently over the silver dial with its elegant satin finish. The domed dial as well as the small discs of the date display are largely produced by hand in our own workshops. Our characteristic Panorama Date is based on two concentrically arranged display discs, which are positioned on the same plane. This makes it easy to read the date without the need for a central separating bar.
Traditional Glashütte features
This elegant timepiece is powered by our automatic winding calibre 39-47 and features a power reserve of 40 hours. Through the sapphire crystal case back, one can admire typical Glashütte features such as the Glashütte three-quarter plate with stripe finish, the swan-neck fine adjustment, polished and bevelled steel parts, as well as a skeletonised rotor with 21-carat gold oscillating weight.
